Higher and higher, with every step and pull closer to the top: Climbing on
naked rocks in the Radstädter Tauern is a special experience.
A great place
for climbing fun, also for non-pros, are the two high rope courses where
exciting courses in the shadows of the forest will await the big and small
active holidaymakers.
Only suitable if you have a head for heights: Climbers can try out three different levels of difficulty in the Wagrain-Kleinarl region. All three via ferratas can be reached from the Kletter-Welt parking lot on the right side before the town sign of Kleinarl and can also be combined. The first one in the bunch is the family via ferrata Tatzlwurm with difficulty A/B (easy) which merges into the via ferrata Kesselfall with difficulty B/C (medium). The highlight is the challenging via ferrata Kleinarler Luftikus D (difficult) which offers an especially impressive climbing experience in breath-taking heights.
Playful and safe climbing for the old and the young: This is possible at the exciting high rope courses surrounding the Edelweiss Nature Hotel. In close vicinity to the Kletter-Welt you can hit the high rope course Kleinarl. Located at the Peilsteinpalfen, the climbers will have a great view over the whole valley. Over platforms, zip wires, suspension bridges and wooden bridges you will climb from tree to tree. There are five courses in total which feature more than 50 obstacles. For children age five or older/110 cm body height there are extra children’s courses.
A second high rope course will await you right in the heart of Wagrain. The courses are especially tailored to teams and groups and are ideal for incentives. Tricky team stations and exciting high rope elements will await the sporty guests.

Climbing courses, climb training or simply climbing when the weather is bad outside: the climbing hall is the meeting point for every season. The climbing area belongs to the multipurpose hall of the Hauptschule Wagrain and offers a 180 m2 lead climbing area. In addition, there is a height-adjustable slackline for balancing.
