Useful information on holiday in Wagrain

ANIMALS
Please be noticed, that they are just allowed in the restaurant “Henry”. They are not allowed in the other restaurants or Spa area. Please do not let dogs swim in the swimming pond. We ask you kindly not to leave any dog excrement in the garden area.
We would like to ask you not to let the dogs on the meadow (also in winter), where the cows graze, because the feces are harmful for the cows. The region around the hotel is a hunting area therefore, you have to leash your dogs. The information to dispose the dog excrement is available at the reception.

BAR
The ideal place to have a drink at the end of the day. Alone, as a couple, or with friends. Just enjoy the time.

BATHROBES
Bathrobes are available in each room.

BATH TOWELS FOR THE SPA – GREEN SPA
Please do not leave the wellness towels in the wellness area. If you would wish to change your wellness towels, we kindly ask you to put them on the floor of your bathroom.

BILLIARD/POOL
You can find a pool table in the youth room. Please don‘t forget to bring € 1 coins to get the billiard balls.

BREAKFAST
Breakfast from 07:30am-10:30am Spoil yourself to your heart‘s content with our Edelweiss organic breakfast buffet so you are well strengthened for the coming day.

BOOTS ROOM
The heated hiking/ski boots room is located across from the hotel, behind the glass door.

BUFFET - LITTLE AFTERNOON DISH
Afternoon buffet from 2:30pm until 4:30pm
We invite you to sit together in the lounge or on the sun terrace (if the weather permits it). We offer you a buffet, where you can find soup, a small main dish and sweet desserts.

CAR PARK
The hotel Parking lot is located directly opposite to the hotel (beside of the signed area for buses). Please DO NOT Park at the two hotel entrances on the backside of the hotel. This area is only for loading or unloading your luggage, and is signed with “hold & parking” this must be kept clear as a fire service entrance.

CHECK IN
Your room will be ready for you from 3:00pm.

CHECK OUT
Your rooms are available until 11:00am on the day of departure. Depending on availability, a late check out is possible - please ask at the reception. If you would like to use our wellness area and afternoon buffet on the day of departure, you can book this for an additional charge.

CIGARETTES
Cigarettes are available at the reception.

COCKTAILS
We have different cocktails for you in our bar menu. Ask at the bar keeper for our cocktail menu and select from our wide range of beverage offers. Tell us your favourite drink; we will be happy to prepare it for you.

CONFERENCE ROOM
We also have a conference room (seating for 25-30 people), it is equipped with the latest technology. More information is available at the reception.

DINNER
Dinner from 06:00pm-08:00pm In the evening, you may choose from our menu suggestions. We have a 5-course menu in which you can choose one of three main dishes; in addition, we offer a wine list with suitable and tasty wines.

EDELWEISSALM – the restaurant next door & farm museum. The rustic restaurant is about 100 meter next to hotel.

ELECTRICITY
All sockets are rated with 220 volts AV power, even in the bathrooms, which are due safety reasons only suitable for dryer and similar equipment.

ENVIRONMENT
Our company strives to act environmentally friendly. We use cleaners that are organic. We are sorting waste and only use energy-saving lamps. Our Green Spa is built as a low energy construction. It is operated by geothermal heating, and it’s sophisticated building system helps us to save even more energy. For more information, please refer to our board in the Green Spa. In addition, the heating system in the main house has been converted to a pellet heating; thereby we do not use fossil fuels in our company. We also thank you for your support to save energy when you turn off the light when leaving the room, close the window and so on.

FUNCTIONS
We have a seminar room (seating for 25-30 people), it is equipped with the latest technology. If you want to find out more we kindly ask you to proceed to the reception.

Gym

The fitness room with mountain view and our fitness equipment from Technogym is always open for you. It is located in the same floor as the reception.

You can access the gym with your room key card. Please be noticed that we would like to ask you not to use the treadmill before 8:30 am and not later as 09:00 pm.

Please use the disinfection tissue or gel to clean the training equipment after usage, so the next guest may use clean equipment.

Admission for children under 16 years must be accompanied by an adult. Parents are responsible for their children at all times.
 

Golf

We are the founder hotel of the “Golf Club St. Johann im Pongau” and partner hotel of the Golf Club Radstadt. In St. Johann you may play on the orange course (9 hole compact course, Par 28) and on the blue course (9 hole, Par 35) anytime, free of charge.

You may even rent one of the hotel’s own golf bags for your game (free of charge) depending on availability.

You can reserve a Tee time with us at the golf courses “Open Golf St.Johan” or nearby (Radtstadt, Goldegg,…), for this you will need to proceed to the reception.

GREEN SPA

Opening times are from 07:00am until 07:30pm.
Our Green Spa is a place exclusively for adults (aged 12 and over) to relax and enjoy. For our younger guests, we offer a separate children‘s indoor pool. Families have the opportunity to use the Green Spa together. Kids (up to age 12) have access to the pool area of the Green Spa from 02:30pm until 04:30pm. Parents are responsible for observing the quiet areas and times. From 04:30pm onwards all kids under 12 years are only allowed to use the kids pool area! Children have no access to the nude area of the sauna.

Hikes
Numerous hiking trails are at your disposal in winter as well as in summer. Maps are available at the reception. Recommended hikes in hiking folders categorised by easy, medium and difficult can be found in the hotel lounge under the hotel TV. We will be happy to make you a copy of the desired hike at the reception.

INTERNET ACCESS
Fast internet access is provided free of charge under welcome@edelweiss.

LAUNDRY SERVICE
A laundry bag and price list can be found in your wardrobe. You can leave the laundry at the reception; the dry laundry will be brought to your room.

MOUNTAIN BIKE
Try our e-bikes, hard tail or Fully (additional charge - find the prices at the reception desk). At the reception you can rent your mountain bike. Our rental bikes are no downhill bikes and therefore prohibited in the downhill Park - risk of injury! We kindly ask you to reserve your desired bike on the evening until 6:00pm, in order to avoid queues and to check the availability.

MOBILE PHONE
We kindly ask you to be considerate of other guests and turn off your mobile phone in the restaurant and spa area.

Current newspapers and magazines can be found in the hotel lobby

NORDIC WALKING
Try out the sport on our beautiful hiking trails. Free rental of the sticks possible at reception.

RECEPTION
the reception is open from 08:00am - 10:00pm. From the room telephone you can reach us at +43 6413 8447, also for urgent EMERGENCY 24 hours.

REPAIRS
In case a repair is necessary in your room, we would like to apologize for this inconvenience and kindly ask you to report this to the hotel reception. We will solve this for you immediately

ROOM CARD
If you come back to the hotel late at night, we ask you to take your room key with you, which can open the back door of the hotel, however not the main entrance. On departure, please bring your room key to the reception.

ROOM SAFE
Our rooms are equipped with a private safe. The manual is in the room.

SAUNA
Is daily open from 03:00 pm until 07:30 pm and can be found in the Green Spa area. There you will find a steam bath 55°C, bio-sauna 60°C and a Finnish sauna 90°C. The whole sauna is a naked area therefore, we ask you, to sit with your towels on the wood.

SMOKING
Smoking is strictly prohibited in the hotel! You may smoke on our sun terrace, on your room balcony or in front of the hotel entrances.

SPA AREA
Children’s pool
Our children’s pool is in the basement floor. Opening times of the pool are from 7:00am until 7:30pm (no pool lifeguard is attendant). Water depth reaches up to 135 cm.

Green Spa
Opening time: from 7:00am-7:30pm. Our Green Spa is a place exclusively for adults (aged 12 and older) to relax and enjoy. For our younger guests, we offer a separate children‘s indoor pool. Families have the opportunity to use the Green Spa together. Kids (up to age 12) have access to the pool area of the Green Spa from 2:30pm until 4:30pm.
Parents are responsible for observing the quiet areas at all times. From 4:30pm kids under 12 year need to leave the spa area. Children have no access to the nude area of the sauna.

Swimming pond
Summer:
Please be aware of the Eco zone / „Ökozone“ - please do not enter these. We kindly ask you to take a shower before using the swimming pond. Thank you! Kids can enter the swimming pond at all times, the parents are responsible for observing them.
Winter:
The outdoor swimming pond is frozen – attention risk of breaking – We ask you for your own safety to not enter the swimming pond. Parents are responsible for their children at all times.

SKI BOOT ROOM
The ski boot room is located on the right side at the ski room at the building’s opposite. This is equipped with heated boot racks. We ask you, to not enter the hotel with ski boots.

SKI RENTAL
We have an on-site ski rental and ski service with top brands. Information can be found at the reception.

SKI SCHOOL

You also have the option to book courses and ski lessons online. Please be noticed, that you choose the location “Moadörfl” (which is at the ski lift “rote 8er”).

SLEIGH RENTAL
Guests are welcome to borrow free sledding. For further information, please contact our reception.

TABLE TENNIS
If you like to play table tennis you can rent the rackets and balls at reception free of charge.

You have a variety of about 200 television channels which you can find next to the TV, in the program list.

TENNIS COURT
Play a few sets on our hotel owned tennis court (depending on availability and free of charge). Key, Tennis rackets and balls are available at the reception. We kindly ask you to reserve the court at the reception.

TOWELS & WELLNESS TOWELS
To help to protect the environment, we kindly ask you to put dirty towels on the floor. If you like to keep your towels please leave them on the towel rail – those we will not be changed.

TRIPS AND NEWS
The current activity program of the hotel can be seen on the information board at the reception. Information about destinations and attractions can be found in your room folder or in the brochure rack opposite of the lift on the ground floor.

Also for the youth there are entertainment options such as: A pool table, table football, playstations with play seats, a Nintendo Switch, a Fun4Four table and a chill out lounge with internet corner. The youth club is located in the basement.
