Wagrain-Kleinarl is part of Ski Amadé, the largest ski federation in Austria. An unbelievable number of 760 piste kilometres can be explored with just one ski pass. Wagrain is home to the two ski mountains Grafenberg and Grießenkareck, which are connected by the modern G-Link cable car across the village. Not far from the Pflegerschlössl, another famous person is commemorated: the Austrian poet Karl Heinrich Waggerl, who lived here for 50 years. In today's Museum at the Kirchboden in Wagrain you can immerse yourself in Waggerl's literary work.
